May 2015 • Redbright Institute wins Barnet, previously a neutral territory. June 2015 • East End Pack appoints a new alpha, Derek Hale, following death of the previous alpha. July 2015 • Shadow Coven becomes the first Circle Midnight coven to publicly declare itself for several years. • Circle Midnight wins Enfield, previously a neutral territory. • Seelie/Unseelie Courts win Bromley and Bexley, previously neutral territories. August 2015 • Seelie/Unseelie Courts win Lewisham, previously a lawless territory. • Derek Hale leaves East End Pack, which becomes temporarily leaderless. September 2015 • Seelie/Unseelie Courts win Croydon from Circle Daybreak. • Circle Midnight fails to claim Barnet from Redbright Institute. They are later forced to issue an official apology, and agree a truce which means that neither side will attack the other unless provoked. • Redbright Institute wins Haringey, which was previously disputed by vampires and werewolves. October 2015 • As of 4th October, the Night Council declares it illegal to kill any witch regardless of circumstance. • Circle Daybreak wins Lambeth, previously a lawless territory. • Faolan becomes leader of the Hillingdon Clan. November 2015 • Islington Nest wins Lewisham from Seelie/Unseelie Courts. December 2015 • Circle Daybreak prevent Croydon from being handed over to Circle Midnight by the Seelie/Unseelie Courts, which leaves Croydon a disputed territory. • Seelie/Unseelie Courts win Havering, previously a neutral territory. • Gilbert Norrell becomes Witch Representative on the Night Council, ousting Vice President Dee Absin who is accused of sympathizing with Circle Midnight. Peter Vrinak, the previous Witch Representative, becomes Vice President in her place. January 2016 • Effective from 1st January, the Night Council bans all dark magic. • East End Pack wins Greenwich as part of an unofficial truce with the Islington Nest. The territory was previously disputed between vampires and werewolves. • Circle Daybreak wins Croydon, previously disputed between witches and Seelie/Unseelie Courts. February 2016 • Abigail Widdowson of Circle Midnight becomes the Maiden of all witches. The official handover ceremony takes place on 1st March. March 2016 • James Memon becomes alpha of the East End Pack. • Islington Nest fails to claim Bromley from Seelie/Unseelie Courts. • Seelie/Unseelie Courts fail to claim Lambeth from Circle Daybreak. • The Night Council allows fae to pass through their territories and create Doors to the Other Realm, both of which were previously banned. April 2016 • Candidates for the 2016 Night Council election campaign are announced and campaigning begins. • Following a successful petition, the East End Pack are allowed to vote in the Night Council election for the first time in twenty four years. May 2016 • The 2016 Night Council election results are announced. All incumbent candidates retain their seats except for Gilbert Norrell who is replaced by Nora Shannon as the Witch Representative under dubious circumstances. • East End Pack wins Havering from Seelie/Unseelie Courts. • Circle Daybreak wins Southwark from the Islington Nest. • Alexandra Udinov of the East End Pack assassinates Millicent, leader of the Islington Nest, on 28th May 2016. She has some inside help from vampires who are unhappy with Millicent's leadership. June 2016 • Raymond Harris becomes leader of the Islington Nest and immediately announces some new rules. • James Memon leaves East End Pack, which becomes temporarily leaderless. • Islington Nest fails to claim Southwark from Circle Daybreak. • Gilbert Norrell, High Priest of Circle Daybreak, disappears. Evidence suggests that he was illegally practising dark magic. • Alexandra Udinov is captured by the Islington Nest, but escapes before she can be brought to justice. July 2016 • Following the murder of a Night Council Guardian by an Islington vampire, the Night Council demands that the Islington Nest put an end to its policy encouraging attacks on werewolves and shapeshifters. • Islington Nest leader Raymond Harris refuses to comply with the Night Council's demands and is therefore ejected from the Council. The loss of his seat means that Islington vampires are now free game for hunters. • Seelie/Unseelie Courts fail to claim Lewisham from the Islington Nest. August 2016 • Islington Nest leader Raymond Harris declares himself the Other Mayor of London, rejecting the Night Council's authority. • Islington Nest wins Greenwich from East End Pack. • Diphylleia "Dee" Absin rejoins the Night Council as Treasurer, replacing the empty Vampire Representative seat. September 2016 • Hillingdon Clan wins Hounslow from Redbright Institute. • Islington Nest leader Raymond Harris makes a formal alliance with Circle Midnight leader Abigail Widdowson. • Redbright Institute wins Enfield from Circle Midnight. Abigail Widdowson is exiled and Circle Midnight is eliminated from the game. October 2016 • Islington Nest wins Southwark from Circle Daybreak. • On the night of Halloween, Islington Nest leader Raymond Harris is assassinated by Jean-Claude, bringing his short-lived reign to an end. November 2016 • Jean-Claude becomes the new leader of the Islington Nest following the assassination of Raymond Harris. • Islington Nest wins Newham from East End Pack. December 2016 • Sylvia Redbright retires as Mother of Witches, effectively stepping down as leader of Circle Daybreak. • Following negotiations, the Night Council agree to reinstate the Vampire Representative seat. The three nominations are announced at the end of December. January 2017 • For the first time in its history, the Islington Nest democratically elects a Vampire Representative, John Cooper, to join the Night Council. • Samantha Okeke becomes the new Mother of Witches in Circle Daybreak. • Katherine Moore, leader of the East End Pack, declares that any vampire found in East End territory will be hunted down and killed. February 2017 • Samantha Okeke makes her first official appearance on behalf of Circle Daybreak, causing a stir when she has her familiar accompany her. • The East End Pack agrees to an alliance with Circle Daybreak, on condition that they support the pack to fight back against the vampires. March 2017 • Circle Daybreak fail to claim Bromley from Seelie/Unseelie Courts. • Fae across London begin to go missing. In unrelated news, Samantha Okeke announces the location of a new Magical Innovation Centre in Richmond. • Following a successful petition by Circle Daybreak, the Night Council officially revises its definition of dark magic to not include summoning magic. April 2017 • Circle Daybreak change the magical seal in Daybreak territories so that fae can be summoned by witches, but they still can't create Doors to pass between the realms. • Jean-Claude, leader of the Islington Nest, declares that any werewolf found in Islington territory will be subject to a punishment of the Nest's choice. • Seelie/Unseelie Courts win Croydon from Circle Daybreak. • Circle Daybreak's new Magical Innovation Centre officially opens. • Samantha Okeke and Cesare Borgia secretly conspire to remove Sylvia Redbright from the Night Council. May 2017 • Samantha Okeke replaces Nora Shannon as Witch Representative on the Night Council. • Islington Nest wins Lambeth from Circle Daybreak. • Sylvia Redbright announces her resignation as President of the Night Council following allegations of corruption linked to a previous leader of the Islington Nest. These allegations become known as the Millicent Scandal. • Islington Nest fails to claim Haringey for the Night Council from Redbright Institute, after Cesare Borgia demands that Sylvia Redbright hands over a territory to the Night Council in the wake of the Millicent Scandal. • Nominations for the Night Council President are announced and the election campaign gets underway. • Hillingdon Clan wins Richmond from Circle Daybreak, shutting down the Magical Innovation Centre in the process. June 2017 • Cesare Borgia becomes President of the Night Council after winning the election. • A petition by the Seelie/Unseelie Court to reclassify summoning magic as dark magic is approved by the Night Council. This means that summoning magic becomes illegal again. • A petition by the East End Pack to repeal the law that states killing a witch is punishable by death is rejected by the Night Council. July 2017 • Some Redbright students and others stage a peace and unity march outside the Night Council Headquarters, protesting at the recent violence and political corruption in London. • The Magical Innovation Centre reopens. Since summoning magic is banned, it no longer conducts experiments on fae. • East End Pack attack on Newham ends in stalemate with the Islington Nest, which leaves Newham a disputed territory. • Cesare Borgia, President of the Night Council, hosts a press conference warning all supernatural factions against committing crimes in the name of pursuing their faction's interests. August 2017 • Natasha Romanoff becomes the first vampire Guardian to join the Night Council since the purge of all vampires when Raymond Harris was ejected from his seat in July 2016. • Eames of the Unseelie Court becomes Champion of the Night Tournament, a supernatural competition hosted by the Redbright Institute. September 2017 • East End Pack wins Greenwich from the Islington Nest. |
