Gaining MinionsUsing MinionsList of Current MinionsAdd a Minion

Minions are NPCs who exist largely to make up the numbers and to act as red shirts when plot conflicts, events or sheer random chance demand it. They are not played by mods. Rather, minions exist invisibly in the background and can be brought out by any player as and when needed.

Minions will always belong to a specific faction. For example, a werewolf pack or a witch coven may include a number of minions as well as player characters to boost the overall strength of the group.

Gaining Minions
There are two ways to gain minions. One is to spend your activity points on adding a minion to your group. The other way is to advance in rank.

• Once you reach level 3, you can add four level 1 minions to your faction.
• Once you reach level 4, you can add six level 1 minions to your faction, and it may be assumed that you have influence over other unnamed individuals and/or groups.
• Once you reach level 5, you can add six level 1 or 2 minions to your faction, and it will be assumed that these are the members of your inner circle and that you have power over other unnamed groups.

Using Minions
Minions are not just there for decoration. They play a key role in territory disputes and will be factored into any player-initiated conflicts that occur. The more minions you have, the more powerful your faction. Having minions therefore increases your chances of winning a new territory.

In-game, you can use minions in your plots e.g. using them as bodyguards, having them as back-up in a fight, supporting a coven's spells and rituals etc.

Every month, the RNG gods will decide the fate of all minions in the game. Some will be lost, while others will increase their rank. The monthly plotting post will include a list of lost and promoted minions. Lost minions will be randomly assigned to die or leave town, and players are free to incorporate their exit into their plots.

NB. Random promotions only go up to level 2. If you want to increase your minions' level beyond that, you will need to claim the promotion as an activity reward.

List of Current Minions

CIRCLE DAYBREAK
Eva Richards | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ This young meta human stays close to Daybreak witches and assists them in return for help controlling her slightly unruly powers.

Daisy Connell | Witch | Level 2
‣ An exceptionally clever young witch who loves to experiment with new magic.

Honeydew | Fae | Level 2
‣ A tiny winged fae who likes to zip around and spy on people. The familiar of Daisy Connell.

Charlene Pinter | Witch | Level 2
‣ An experienced journalist with a PPE degree from Oxford. She specialises in reporting news on the Night Council.

Nick Papadopoulos | Witch | Level 2
‣ Nicknamed 'the Duke' because he once took down a vampire Duke in Europe. Good-humoured but intensely focused, he specialises in offensive magic.

Marisa Darling | Witch | Level 2
‣ A lady of aristocratic birth, she mainly uses magic to throw most excellent parties.

Snowfall | Fae | Level 2
‣ Once an Unseelie and now a familiar to Charlene Pinter. Picks up news around central London by hanging out with the pigeons.

EAST END PACK
Edith Blatherwick | Werewolf | Level 2
‣ A nice old lady who really likes cats.

September Spring | Werewolf | Level 2
‣ The local oddball. A romantic occultist with a chemical dependency. Convinced she can tell the future when under the influence.

Sherman Cox | Werewolf | Level 1
‣ Very mysterious. All anyone seems to know about him is that he's a construction worker and he's searching for a missing loved one.

Joseph Leake | Werewolf | Level 2
‣ Somewhat of a perfectionist. Runs a business selling artsy taxidermy pieces.

Curt Baylock | Werewolf | Level 1
‣ An energetic student who can't seem to talk quietly.

Donte Ahrens | Werewolf | Level 2
‣ Recently turned, stressed, and unfriendly. A pharmacist who has several nervous habits.

Maximina Choi | Shapeshifter | Level 1
‣ An enduring, generous professor who is estranged from her family for reasons unknown. Can take the form of a large brown bear.

Olin Stacey | Werewolf | Level 2
‣ Constantly brags about his great-great-great-grandmother, who he claims was an impressive Queen. The identifying details of her "legendary pack" change every time he tells the story. It's very annoying.

Tull Sciacca | Werewolf | Level 1
‣ Freshly bitten and rather excited to do a lot of biting himself.

Thurman Le | Werewolf | Level 1
‣ Superstitious and a believer in many things conspiracy-or-paranormal related. One would think this would give him an advantage in adjusting to his new life as a member of the supernatural community. Hint: it doesn't.

Quintin Gainey | Werewolf | Level 1
‣ Recruited during Katherine Moore's push to grow the pack. He thought he was agreeing to join a hardcore LARPing group. Oops.

HILLINGDON CLAN
Maria Rivera | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ A meta human with incredible immunity to cold who discovered this upon getting locked in a meat freezer at her part time job. After developing a distressing reputation she found and joined Hillingdon to be near people who didn't give her sideways stares.

Kenneth Corduroy | Ghost | Level 2
‣ He's already dead but no one seems to remember that, so anytime anyone sees him, they get upset that he's died. Again.

Bernard White | Human (allegedly) | Level 2
‣ The most ornery archivist anyone in Hillingdon will ever meet. His basement office is a mess and stinks of cigarettes and he doesn't seem to eat or drink anything except red wine.

Percy Brown | Human | Level 2
‣ Technically an aristocrat but his family was targeted by vampires and he fled, shirking the family name and eventually deciding to train himself as a hunter to take revenge.

Orlagh | Fae | Level 1
‣ Formerly of the Unseelie Court, they found court politics too orderly for their tastes and decided to give mortal life a try with the least rules-intensive faction. Rules suck.

Carrine Taylor | Human | Level 2
‣ Claims to be a direct descendant of Lord Byron and uses this as an excuse to spout poetry at the vampires she kills.

Stephen Jacobs | Shapeshifter | Level 1
‣ He really hates the other Stephen because everyone calls him 'Stephen' while he gets stuck with 'Shifter-Stephen'. Couldn't they have the decency to call the other one 'Human-Stephen'?

Stephen Laurent | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ Thinks the other two Stephens are idiots and just hopes his power to make them (and only them for the moment) forget he exists never goes wonky on him. Everyone else knows him as 'Slim'.

Betty Pernelli | Fae | Level 2
‣ A changeling who hasn't quite figured it out yet. She thinks she's a meta human with a natural gift for sniffing out magic and uses it to make sure no one's scrying on anyone in the House.

Gregor Borisov | Human | Level 1
‣ A classicist who's convinced the Necronomicon is a real book and is dedicated to finding it.

Janet Steele | Human | Level 1
‣ An avid fan of both knitting and murder, her knitting needles are suspiciously all made of silver.

Jon | Meta Human | Level 1
‣ Nobody knows anything about Jon except his coffee order.

ISLINGTON NEST
Konstantina Nicolaides | Vampire | Level 2
‣ A Grecian vampire, she hasn't actually been back to Greece in 200 years. She pissed off a Gorgon and is unsure if she's still mad at her.

Theodore Lameiux | Vampire | Level 2
‣ A cad from the 17th century who still hasn't learned the word "no". Always down for a party.

Torrence "Tub" Lauberg | Vampire | Level 2
‣ Once an aristocrat, now he owns a sweet shop. Come visit if you're in need of penny sweets or liquorice allsorts.

Micheletto Corella | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ An odd, morose figure who seems to always lurk in the shadows. Rumour is he's an assassin for Cesare Borgia.

NIGHT COUNCIL
Petunia Karminrote | Vampire | Level 2
‣ PA to Cesare Borgia. Rumour has it that she can hear through walls. Careful what you say around her.

James Croxton | Vampire | Level 2
‣ Spends most of his time in the Night Council Headquarters. Nobody's quite sure why he's always there, but it's probably for something questionable.

Gerald Tishler | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ A meta human who got his position in the Night Council because everyone thinks he's a pushover and easy to manipulate.

Ulysses Campanelli | Vampire | Level 2
‣ Protector of the Statute of Secrecy. He's old, traditional and a little out of date.

Stevie "Tongue-twister" Nardell | Vampire | Level 2
‣ Spin maestro and PR expert. Famed for her ability to turn anything into a positive.

Matt Murdock | Meta Human | Level 2
‣ A blind lawyer with greatly enhanced senses. Works for the Institute as a member of the Outreach team.

‣ Works for the Institute's IT department.

SEELIE COURT
Lan | Fae | Level 2
‣ The Seelie proprietor of Kunstkammer, an art and curiosities shop.

UNSEELIE COURT
Agnes | Meta Human | Level 3
‣ She's almost certainly just a friendly old lady.

Tierney | Fae | Level 2
‣ A sprite whose approach to dealing with humans is basically racketeering: wrecking things until they offer them something to stop.

Ban Sidhe | Ghost | Level 2
‣ Even in death the court can't get rid of her.

Autumn Brown | Fae | Level 1
‣ She'll grant most wishes for enough gold, and has enough of it to be on whatever 'Hoarders' is for rich people.
